Announcement of the General Administration of Customs on Adjustments to the Catalogue of Import and Export Commodities Subject to Compulsory Inspection

Announcement [2022] No.79 of the General Administration of Customs

In accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection and its implementing rules, the General Administration of Customs has decided to adjust the Catalogue of Import and Export Commodities Subject to Compulsory Inspection, which is hereby announced as follows:

For commodities involving 87 10-digit Customs commodity codes, such as non-hazardous metal materials and products thereof, processing equipment in the electronic industry, dryers and apparatuses, the Customs regulatory criteria "A" are cancelled, and the Customs will no longer carry out import commodity inspection of the relevant commodities.

This Announcement shall come into force on 1 October 2022. See the Appendix for the adjusted regulatory requirements.
